MSB, Kota celebrated its Annual Sports Week this year from 1st February to 9th February, it’s the first time since inception of the institute in Kota that a sports week has been organised wherein students participated in tournaments such as Roller Skating, Cycling, Badminton, Karate and Table Tennis. Laudable performances were seen in these tournaments where the students competed for the first position and house points.

9th February was the final Sports Day on the sprawling grounds of Kota Stadium. The day was filled with fervour and exhilaration, amidst thrills and cheers. The event commenced with the welcoming and felicitation of our honourable Janab Amil Saheb, the Guest of Honour Mr. Rajesh Birla and Mr. Pankaj Mehta.

Class Pre-first started off with dua which lent a serene aura to the event, followed by a welcome speech which laid emphasis on the importance of sports in a student’s life.

Janab Amil Saheb took note of the impressive and well synchronized March Past by all the Houses, coupled with some stirring marching music. A lovely rendition by the pre-first section through drill and formation, which spread on the field like a flag and enacted the message of the 30 wasiyat of Maulana Ali (SA),with a lot of vibrance and radiance the zealous parents, gathered in large numbers and constantly applauded the spirited young stars. The stadium rimmed with flags and cones reverberating with the sound of cheers.

Karate demonstration and Human Pyramids by the students gripped the audience with their energetic performances. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of pre-primary and primary section competed in events including sprints, fun races, obstacle races, long jump, short put and more. Fun time with a tug- of- war between the houses and fathers added to the enjoyment. The spectators were particularly enthused by the performances and praised the efforts profusely. Everyone reminisced about their school days and how they always cherished the days.

At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the Blue House emerged as House Champions with maximum points. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, ebullience and memories to treasure. The feel good factor was definitely evident.
